Description
Located in downtown Setúbal, just 80 metres from the City Hall and 2 minutes away from the famous Bocage Square, the Sado Blue City&River Flats offer fully equipped, self-catered luxurious apartments with air conditioning.
The apartments stay at a few minutes walking from the city´s historical ex-libris such as the Praça do Bocage, the Monastery of Jesus, the Avenida Luísa Todi, the fish and vegetable Market, amongst others. The beautiful and unique Sado river and Arrábida Mountain view are only at a mere 10 min. walk.
The Figueirinha apartment, named after the largest beach in the Arrábida mountain, is located on the 2nd floor and includes two double bedrooms with closet, a living room with double sofa-bed, kitchen and one bathroom with shower. The double beds can be converted into two twin beds. This apartment has capacity for 6 people. There is no elevator in the building, so the access to the apartment is via stairs.
The apartment has all amenities which include air conditioner, flat screen tv, hair dryer, mixer, toiletries, bed linen, towels, amongst others. Wi-fi is available for free. Baby cot is also available on request.
Easy access to all public transports such as buses and taxis and very close to the central bus station.
There is on-street parking and parking lots close by, about 3 minutes by car.
It is in the downtown area that one can find much of the traditional trading, there are stores for every taste. But the downtown does not live solely of commerce as culture peeks around every turn.
Practically all the downtown streets converge to Praça do Bocage, one of the key meeting points of the people of Setúbal and those visiting the city. The Bocage Square is stage for several esplanades, dedicated to one of the greatest figures of Portuguese poetry. Also, in this square is where you´ll find the Municipal Town Hall. The statue of the poet Bocage, with his eyes fixed on the sea, is the landmark of the busiest square in the City.
Right up ahead, we highlight the main avenue of the city, dedicated to Luísa Todi, born in Setúbal and recognized as one of the greatest names ever in lyric singing. In this avenue guests will find several restaurants, supermarkets, lovely kiosks and esplanades and the famous Fish Market, which deserves a special visit.
Just off the busy and bustling city the Arrábida mountain lurks, with its breath-taking views, spectacular beaches and unique fauna and flora. Figueirinha, Galápos, Galapinhos, Portinho da Arrábida and Creiro are but a few of the magnificent beaches where guests can enjoy sunbathing and clear blue water.

Excelente ubicación en la ciudad de Setúbal, excelente el apartamento, sus instalaciones, su mobiliario y sus servicios (la cocina está muy bien acondicionada). Todo estaba muy limpio y cuidado. No hay paking, aunque los hay públicos en las cercanías en horario de 09:00h a 19:00h. Para cargar y descargar se puede acceder a la calle donde se ubica el apartamento. Su ubicación es magnífica, tanto para la visita a la ciudad (muy aconsejable no solo a su patrimonio cultural sino a sus barrios, el mercado público) como a sus alrededores (Sierra de Arrábida, Molino de mareas, Estuario del Sado ...). El único inconveniente que se puede poner para personas de cierta edad y con dificultad de movimiento son las escaleras de acceso al apartamento, sobre todo si está en el segundo piso (en todo caso es llevadero, pero conviene que los inquilinos lo sepan)..

Para estancias más largas, tal vez sería bueno tener lavadora, para 4 días como los nuestros no fue necesario y disfrutamos muchísimo la preciosa ciudad de Setúbal.
